Wedding in the Wine Country

Molly Sims and Scott Stuber

Model/actress, Molly Sims and her producer beau Scott Stuber tied the knot in Napa Valley, Calif.

The wedding was picture perfect, with the idyllic outdoor venue. Sims and Stuber recited their vows underneath the shade of trees with their friends and family nearby.

The ceremony decorations included flowers hanging from trees above, creating a very romantic setting.

Sims wore a dress by Marchesa and jewels by Lorraine Schwartz. Her dress had a mermaid silhouette with lace on the bodice and over her shoulders. It was the perfect balance of classy and sexy.

Her groom didn’t look to shabby himself, in a tux by Tom Ford.

Sims’ bridesmaids all wore dresses by Elizabeth Kennedy. They were all different designs and variations of color, so that each dress could fit their personalities.

The bride’s bouquet was made out of peach-colored roses and the other bouquets were made up with variations of white flowers.

The reception was kept very private, and only the people that the couple is the closest with were in attendance.

The model stuck to the ideals of a traditional wedding but definitely implemented much of her individual style.

Cheers to That!
This is the section in every post that I will rate the weddings on four separate categories: the wedding dress, venue, decorations, and reception. Following that will be an overall rating of each wedding! I will rate based on a scale of Cheers from 1 to 5. (1- don't like it, 3-not my favorite, 5-Cheers to that!)

Wedding Dress: 4 Cheers! I thought this dress was a great shape for Sims super-model physique. I also liked the lace that draped over her shoulders!

Venue: 5 Cheers! I thought that the vineyard was a perfect place for a wedding ceremony.

Decorations: 4 Cheers! Sims stuck to tradition and had light colored flowers everywhere, creating a very romantic setting.

Reception: No Cheers! I do not know enough about the couple's reception to rate this section!

Overall I give the Sims/ Stuber wedding 4 Cheers!

The country music power couple, Miranda Lambert and Black Shelton was married May 14, 2011. Their wedding fit their country personality to a tee. The couple stuck to tradition and made sure that the wedding was something they would always remember.

These are just a few highlights of how Shelton and Lambert had the perfect country wedding.

The wedding was at the Don Strange Ranch outside of  San Antonio, Texas. It was not in some exotic location, it was just a barn. The decorations were not exactly traditional either, with deer antler chandeliers, cow hide rugs, and lanterns, the couple completed  the country chic atmosphere.

Lambert could have worn any dress of her dreams, but chose to wear her mother’s dress. It was simple, beautiful, and she thought of it as a “good luck charm.” Her boquet was made completety out of antique costume jewelry and she wore custom-made Casadei cowboy boots under her dress.

Shelton wore a Texas Tux which is blue jeans with a coat and vest.

Lambert also chose not to walk down the aisle to the traditional wedding march, and instead had bridesmaid, Ashley Monroe sing ‘Makin’ Plans’ which is a song Lambert wrote for Shelton in 2009.

The reception was nothing short of fabulous. The couple sat at a pink table with a sign above them based off of Lambert's tattoo that said The Sheltons. There were silver couches and hot pink drapes, and the cake was made to look like worn leather.

Lambert changed into a short strapless Pricilla of Boston dress for the reception. It was perfect with her white boots, and she looked like she was ready for some dancing.

The wedding was the perfect mix of traditional, country, and eclectic. The decorations, attire, and music was all inspired by the couple's personality.

Cheers to That!

Wedding Dress: 5 Cheers! Lambert's dress was so special and full of meaning! I love that she could have bought any dress and she chose to wear her mother's dress. I also liked the dress that she wore for the reception because you could see her cute custom made boots.

Venue: 4.5 Cheers! I am obsessed with the idea of have a barn wedding!

Decorations: 4 Cheers! Probably not what I would choose, but I think that it is perfect for this country couple. The deer antler chandeliers were definitely my favorite!

Reception: 3.5 Cheers! The cake was very untraditional but I guess appropriate when keeping up with the theme!

Overall I give the Lambert/ Shelton wedding 4.5 Cheers!

Lachey and Minnillo's Wedding Surprise

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo wed on July 15, 2011

Former member of 98 Degrees, Nick Lachey, and former Miss Teen USA and MTV Host, Vanessa Minnillo tied the knot July 15, 2011.
They didn’t have your average celebrity wedding, with a guest list full of stars and paparazzi flashing their cameras everywhere.
They had a surprise wedding location planned out for their 35 closet friends and family members.

Everyone loaded up on a plane with no clue where they were going, and when they arrived on Sir Richard Branson’s private Necker Island, no one was disappointed.
It was very important to the couple that paparazzi not ruin their perfect day, so they took extreme measures by not even telling their own parents the location of the wedding.
Minnillo wanted a traditional wedding, with tuxes and heels, and that is what she got. She was stunning in a Monique Lhuiller two piece gown with Christian Loubitan pumps. While Lachey looked handsome in a Dolce & Gabbana suit.

Minnillo’s dress was one to remember with a lace corset embellished with rose and crystal detail and a skirt made of silk.
When she asked Lachey what he wanted to see her in he said, “something traditional with a little modern flair.”
Her dress absolutely met the criteria, from the front it looked like a traditional wedding dress, but the see through lace on the back added that modern flair her groom was looking for.
Everything was perfect, from the ceremony that was held over looking the ocean to the dance party on the beach that night. Their wedding was intimate and personal, which most celebrities do not have the luxury of experiencing.

Cheers to That!
This is the section in every post that I will rate the weddings on four separate categories: the wedding dress, venue, decorations, and reception. Following that will be an overall rating of each wedding! I will rate based on a scale of "Cheers!" from 1 to 5. (1- don't like it, 3-not my favorite, 5-Cheers to that!)

The Wedding Dress: 4 Cheers! I thought Minnillo looked absolutely beautiful in her gown.

Venue: 5 Cheers! Sir Richard Branson's island was the perfect place for a private, tropical location. I loved how the couple only brought along their closest friends and family to be a part of such a special time.

Decorations: 4.5 Cheers! The simplicity of the decorations was what I loved. The bright flowers created a tropical feel.

Reception: 5 Cheers! The reception was all about having fun and enjoying their surroundings. The couple danced the night away on the beach, which sound wonderful to me!

Overall I give the Minnillo/ Lachey wedding 4.5 Cheers!

Roll Out the White Carpet

Kim Kardashian’s fairytale wedding to NBA player Kris Humphries turned out to be the black tie event of the year.

The ceremony was the A-list place to be at on August 20, with celebrities Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, Mario Lopez, Lindsay Lohan, and many more.

From the tents to the guests’ attire, black and white was all around.
Guests had to abide by a strict black and white dress code. Even the bridesmaids and her mom, Kris Kardashian, were in white, full length Vera Wang dresses.

However, no one was going to steal the show from Kardashian on her big day. Her “princess” ceremony dress was designed by Vera Wang. With a tight bodice, full tulle skirt and outrageous train, Kim looked like a real princess walking down the aisle.

During the ceremony while Kim and Kris were exchanging vows they had written for each other and saying “I do,” I couldn’t help but be distracted by the huge Swarovski crystal cross hanging behind them.

After the ceremony, Kim surprised her new husband with another Vera Wang dress for the couple’s first dance. This dress had a mermaid silhouette, which showed off her infamous curves.

When it came time to dance and let loose, Kardashian wasn’t quite ready, she had yet another dress change. The third Vera Wang gown of the night implementing the style of “old Hollywood” glamor.

It is every girls dream to have their fairytale wedding, but how much is too much?

All three of Kardashian’s gowns were beautiful, but she spent a good portion of her wedding extravaganza in a dressing room.

Also, why would you want all of your bridesmaids in long, white dresses?

It was Kim’s big day yet she had five bridesmaids and a mother that looked like brides.

Overall, Kim had a day only few of us could dream of, but I am not sure that she got to experience the beauty of day like a wedding.

Wedding Dress: 3.5 Cheers! Kim's dress (dresses) were beautiful, but also a little over-the-top, and the diamond head piece was just not my style. Also, why does anyone need three dresses?!

Venue: 5 Cheers! I thought the Sotto II Monte estate was beautiful and the perfect size for Kardashian to create her fairytale wedding.

Decorations: 4 Cheers! I loved how everything was black and white, and thought it made everything flow very nicely. However, I think it might have been nice to have a pop of color here and there.

Reception: 3.5 Cheers! The reception looked like it was a blast! My only dislike is how the wedding cake had sections of black. I understand keeping a consistent theme, but I also think somethings should stay traditional.
Overall I give the Kardashian/ Humphries wedding 4 Cheers!
